ABOUT THE SERVICE
The North East Grant and Project Support Service helps bushfire affected not-for-profit, community and volunteer groups within the Indigo, Mansfield, Wangaratta and Alpine LGAs with obtaining grant funding for their projects. The Into Our Hands team will work with your community group directly, to foster partnerships, develop concepts, identify funding sources and support grant application writing and negotiation. This service is open to a total of 30 not-for-profit, community and volunteer groups in our region.
ABOUT THE GRANTWRITER SARAH THOMPSON
Sarah has been the executive officer at into Our Hands since 2018, in this time Sarah has brought over $500,000 in grant funding into the Foundation. Sarah has extensive experience in community and private philanthropy, grant strategy development, fundraising, donor relationship management and stewardship, collective giving, donor circle facilitation and donor development events.
Sarah has demonstrated achievements in community and stakeholder engagement work. Including design, planning and implementation of community relations workshops, strategies and communication documents as well as professional experience in the development of public/ private partnerships for corporate social responsibility strategies in microfinance and community engagement.
