Glenrowan Solar Farm

In 2024, Into Our Hands Community Foundation proudly took on the role of managing the Glenrowan Solar Farm Community Benefit Sharing Program grants.

This initiative is dedicated to supporting local projects that enhance community wellbeing, promote sustainability, and strengthen connections within the Glenrowan region and surrounding areas.

As part of this program, nine local organisations shared in $50,000 of funding, enabling them to deliver meaningful projects that address key community needs. Into Our Hands provided expert administrative support and strategic guidance to ensure the grants were managed efficiently, allowing recipient groups to focus on achieving impactful results.

The projects funded through this program showcase a shared commitment to fostering environmental sustainability and building social resilience. From initiatives that preserve local ecosystems to programs that bring people together and enhance the quality of life for residents, the Glenrowan Solar Farm Community Benefit Sharing Program highlights the power of community-driven efforts to create lasting positive change.

By collaborating with local organisations and stakeholders, Into Our Hands continues to drive forward a vision of thriving, connected, and sustainable communities across North East Victoria. This partnership exemplifies how renewable energy projects, like the Glenrowan Solar Farm, can deliver far-reaching benefits beyond energy production by investing in the people and places that make our region unique.
